What does it cost to take the online exams?

For all online studies, the cost is only the semester and kopinor fee for norwegian students. For non-norwegian students, you are exempt from paying the semester- and kopinor fee. Students outside EU/EEA/Switzerland must pay a tuition fee.

I have signed up for the exam, but have not yet recieved admission

Please allow 14-21 workdays for administration of your application. For non-norwegian applicants, it may take some time to evaluate the documentation. Please also make sure that you have sent all the required documents.

How many credits can I achieve?

All our subjects give 15 ECTs. If you take exam for bird appearance and sound on both 1000-level and 2000-level, you can in total achieve 60 ECTs.

Is it possible to take the exams without participating in the field courses?

Yes.

I want to participate in the Western Palearctic field course, but are not able to join all three excursions

No problem, you choose yourself how many excursions you wish to participate in

I have passed at least one exam, but have not received a t-shirt

We do not automatically send out t-shirts to everyone who passed an exam anymore. If you live in Norway, you can send us an e-mail and you will be sent a t-shirt for free. We do not send t-shirts to other countries.

I want to take the exam over again. What do I do?

You sign up again, but it is not necessary to send the documentation one more time. You have 3 lifetime attempts for every exam, and you must wait 3 months between each try
